Materials

Plugins:

  • Alf’s Power Sines - Petals 2 / 4 Spiral Grads - * import in Filters unlimited

  • Andrews Filter 3 -Mirrored Noise - * import in Filters unlimited

  • AP [Lines]  - Silverlining

  • Eye Candy 5 Impact - Bevel / Perspective Shadow

  • MuRa’s Meister  - Pole Transform

  • Transparency - Eliminate Black

  • Unlimited 2.0

 

Preparations:

  • Copy the selection files to the selection folder of PSP

  • Double Click on the Eye Candy Presets, they will be imported automatically

 

Used Colors

  • Foregroundcolor: #ecd233

  • Backgroundcolor: #000000

  • Other: #b2429d

This translation is written with PSP13 but can also be made with other PSP versions.

Note: When working with your own colors then play with the blend mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

01.

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 600 px

Fill with the backgroundcolor

Selections - Select all

Open Tube "calguiscolorful15311" - Copy and paste into the selection

Selections - Select None

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling - Default settings

Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur

 

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror

Layer Palette - Set the Layer Opacity of this layer to 50

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Effects - Plugins  – MuRa’s Meister – Pole Transform - Click twice on Fill background to fill all the transparent parts

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Flip

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

It looks like this now:

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the backgroundcolor

Effects - Plugins  – Unlimited 2.0 – Alf’s Power Sines – Petals 2

Effects - Plugins  – Transparency – Eliminate Black

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layers - Duplicate

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to Dodge

Layers - Merge - Merge all

Open Tube "decoLadyCinzia-yvonnespsplessen" - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Effects - Image Effects - Offset
 

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layer Palette - Set the Layer Opacity of this layer to Overlay

Layers - Duplicate

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from disc - LadyCinzia@yvonnespplessensel1


 

Fill with the foregroundcolor

Keep selected

Selection Tool - Rectangle

Make a selection like this:

Edit - Copy

Back to your work image

Edit - Paste into the selection

Layer Palette - Set the Blendmode this layer to "Luminance"

Effects - Plugins  – Unlimited 2.0 – Andrews Filter 3 – Mirrored Noise

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Selections - Modify - Select Selection Border

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the backgroundcolor

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Bevel -  Settings Tab: Preset LadyCinzia@yvonnespsplessen

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Preset LadyCinzia-1@yvonnespsplessen

Note: If you use other colors, you can go go to the Basic tab to change the color 

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow - Same settings

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Layers - New Raster Layer

Change the foregroundcolor to #b2429d

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from disc - LadyCinzia@yvonnespsplessendel2 -

Fill with the foregroundcolor

Layers - New Raster Layer

Open image "wpdad944c"

Selection Tool - Rectangle

Make a selection like this:

Edit - Copy

Back to your work image

Edit - Paste into the selection

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to Luminance

Effects - Plugins  – Unlimited 2.0 – Andrews Filter 3 – Mirrored Noise - same settings

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Selections - Modify - Select Selection Border

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the backgroundcolor

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Bevel -  Settings Tab: Preset LadyCinzia@yvonnespsplessen

Click on the Lighting tab and change the Shadow color to your Foreground color.

Effects - Plugins  – Eye Candy 5: Impact – Perspective Shadow - Same settings as before

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins  – Eye Candy 5: Impact – Perspective Shadow - Same settings as before

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Your work looks like this now:

 

08.

Pen Tool - Mode: Draw Lines and Poly Lines - Create as Vector checked - Linestyle Solid - Width 2

On the right side , draw a line right in the middle from top to bottom.  Hold the shift key down to get a  straight line:

Layers - Convert to Raster Layer

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Layers - Arrange - Move Down Twice

Set the foregroundcolor back to #ecd233

Pentool - same settings - Draw a line at the left of the image

Layers - Convert to Raster Layer

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

 

 

10.

Layer Palette - Click on the second layer from the bottom

Effects - Plugins  – Eye Candy 5: Impact – Perspective Shadow - Same settings as before

 

11.

Layer Palette - Click on the third layer from the bottom

Set the Layer Opacity to 50 ( The mode is still set to Overlay)

 

12.

Layer Palette - Lock the bottom layer (click on the eye)

Layer Palette - Click on the top layer.

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Make the bottom layer visible and active by clicking on it.

On this layer:

Selection Tool - Rectangle - Custom Selection:  e

Effects - Plugins  – AP [Lines] – Lines Silverlining

Selections - Invert

Effects - Plugins  – AP [Lines] – Lines Silverlining

Change the Gap settings to 5

Selections - Select None

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins  – Unlimited 2.0 – Alf’s Power Sines – 4 Spiral Grads

Effects - Plugins  – Unlimited 2.0 – Color Filters - Sunshine

Layer Palette - Blend Mode of this layer to Burn and the Layer Opacity to 20

Effects - Geometric Effects - Skew
