Preparations:

  • Double Click on the Eye Candy Preset, it will be imported automatically

  • Open the mask file in PSP and minimize to tray

Used Colors

  • Foregroundcolor: #e0e4d5

  • Backgroundcolor:#b2b6a7

  • Other #ffffff

Note: The colors will change at the end ot the tutorial.

This translation is written with PSP13 but can also be made with other PSP versions.

01.

Open sister-alpha-regisin PSP

Window - Duplicate (or shift/D) - Close the original and proceed on the copy

Set your foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Sunburst

Fill the image with the gradient

Effects - Plugins - Mehdi - Wavy Lab

 

02.

Layers - Duplicate

Make the top layer invisible

 Layer Palette - Click on the Bottom layer

Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Flexify 2

 

03.

Layer Palette - Click on the top layer and make it visible again

 Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Soft Light"

Effects - Plugins - Xero - Clarity - Default settings - Repeat once

Effects - Plugins - AP01 [Inovations] -  Lines - Silverlining

  Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the foregroundcolor

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - CrealineMask-1-9.05.20111

Layers - Merge - Merge group

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More

Effects - Plugins - Xero - Clarity - Default settings

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from Alpha Channel - sister

Fill with the backgroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 4 px

Fill with the foregroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 px

Fill with the backgroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 px

Open Tube "tube28"

Selection Tool - Rectangle - make a selection at the left face like this:

Edit - Copy

Go back to your work image and paste into the selection

Selections - Select None

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow -2 - 4 - 50 - 15 - #4B5B23

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from Alpha Channel - sister-regis

Fill with the backgroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 4 px

Fill with the foregroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 px

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 px

Go back to Tube "tube28"

Selections - Select None

Select the other face like this:

Edit - Copy

Go back to your work image and paste into the selection

Selections - Select None

Layers - Duplicate

Move down like this:

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Open Tube "Doodle101CajunDesignz copie" - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Image - Resize - 50% - Resize all layers not checked

Image - Negative image

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow -1 - 2 - 100 - 4 - Backgroundcolor

Move like this

 

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Flip

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layers - Arrange - Move Down

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Overlay"

Set your foregroundcolor to #ffffff

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from Alpha Channel - sister-regis2

Selections - Invert

Fill with the foregroundcolor

Keep selected

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Soft Light" and the Layer Opacity to 35

Selections - Invert

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Modify - Select Selection Border

Fill with #ffffff

Selections - Select None

Image - Resize - 80% - Resize all layers not checked

Layers - Duplicate

Layers - Merge - Merge down

Magic Wand Tool - Mode: Shift/Add - Tolerance 0 - Contiguous checked - Anti Alias Checked -  Click in the border:

 

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Glass -  Settings Tab: Click on Factory Default and next on preset sister-glass-regis

Selections - Select None

Go back to Tube "tube28"

Selections - Select none

Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Image - Resize - 80% - Resize all layers not checked

Move to the right like this:

Layers - Duplicate

Layer Palette - Click on the original tube layer

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 10

 

15.

Layer Palette - Click on the second layer from the bottom

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from Alpha Channel - sister-regis2

Hit the delete key of your keyboard

Effects  3D Effects - Cutout

Selections - Select None

 

16.

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric -  1 px - Backgroundcolor

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric -  50 px - Foregroundcolor

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric -  1 px - Backgroundcolor

 

17.

Image - Resize - Width 800 Pixels - Resize all layers checked

 

18.

Open Tube "IKHDesigns_WinterTale_el64-shadow" - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Image - Resize - 50% - Resize all layers not checked - Repeat once

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - Hue 53 - Saturation 24

Adjust - Sharpness Sharpen

Move to the left top corner:

Layers - Merge - Merge all

Effects - Plugins - Nik Software - Color Efex - Bi Color Filters - Moss Color Set1 Opacity 27

 

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
