VM Extravaganza / Transmission  - Needs to be imported in Filters Unlimited!!

 

 

Preparations:

Copy the Narah_Abstract020 mask file to the mask folder of PSP

Open file "TCH-61-Alpha" in PSP and minimize to tray ( it contains alpha selections)

 

Used Colors

Foregroundcolor: #50b7d9

Backgroundcolor: #000000

This translation is written with PSP13 but can also be made with earlier PSP versions.

01.

Open a new transparent image of 600 x 400 px

Set your foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Sunburst

Fill your image with the gradient.

Effects - Plugins - Filter Factory S -  Fractal Tiler

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

 

 

02.

Open Tube "DBK AA Male Model-6502" - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Move like this:

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "screen" and the Layer Opacity to 70

Make the layer invisible for now.

 

03.

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with #000000

Layers - Load/Save Mask - Load Mask from Disc - Narah_Abstract020

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

 

04.

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from Alpha Channel - TCH-61-Alpha - Selection #1

Fill with the gradient

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins Filters Unlimited - - VM Extravaganza - Transmission:

Selection Tool - Rectangle

Make a selection around the thin stripes at the top and the bottom  like this:

 

Hit the delete key of your keyboard

Selections - Select None

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Layer Palette - Set the Layer Opacity of this layer to 70

 

05.

Selections - Select all

Selections - Float

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 px

Layer Palette - Click on the second layer from the bottom ( the closed tube layer)

Selections - Promote selection to layer

Layers - Arrange - Bring to top

Selections - Select None

Layer Palette - Click on the second layer from the top

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - 3 - 3 - 70 - 5 - #000000

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Minus 3 -Minus 3 - 70 - 5 - #000000

Make the tube layer visible again

 

06.

Layer Palette - Click on the top layer

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from Alpha Channel - TCH-61-Alpha - Selection #2

Fill the selection with the gradient

Selections - Select None

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Layer Palette - Set the Layer Opacity of this layer to 70

 

07.

Go back to Tube "DBK AA Male Model-6502" - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Image - Resize - 63% - Resize all layers not checked

Move to the right like this:

Layer Palette - Click on the second layer from the top ( the rectangle layer you have just made)

Selections - Select all

Selections - Float

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 px

Layer Palette - Click on the top layer

Selections - Promote selection to layer

Selections - Select None

Layer Palette - Click on the second layer from the top

Layers - Delete

 

08.

Layer Palette - Click on the top layer and set the layer opacity to 80

Layer Palette - Click on the second layer from the top ( the rectangle)

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Minus 3 -Minus 3 - 70 - 5 - #000000

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - 3 - 3 - 70 - 5 - #000000

 

Layer Palette - Click on the top layer

Open Tube "TCH-Tuto-61-Ronds-001" - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Move to the right like this:

 

 

09.

Go back to Tube "DBK AA Male Model-6502" - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Image - Resize - 60% - Resize all layers not checked

Move like this:

 

10.

Layers - Duplicate

Layer Palette - Click on the original tube layer

Effects - Distortion Effects - Wind - From Left checked - Wind Strength: 50

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Screen"

 

11.

Layer Palette - Click on the top layer

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - 3 - 3 - 70 - 20 - #000000

 

12.

Open Tube "TCH-Tuto-61-Texte" - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Move to the right like this:

 

13.

Change the gradient to these settings:

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric -  2 px - #50b7d9

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric -  26 px - #ffffff

Magic Wand Tool - Mode: Shift/Add - Tolerance 0 - Contiguous checked - Anti Alias Checked -  Click in the last border

Fill with the gradient

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 10

Selections - Invert

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - 3 - 3 - 70 - 5 - #000000

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Minus 3 - Minus 3 - 70 - 5 - #000000

Selections - Select None

 

14.

Open Tube "TCH-Tuto-61-Cadre" - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric -  1 px - #50b7d9

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric -  2 px - #000000

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
