new transparent image of 750 x 500 px
Set your foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background
Gradient (Corel_06_029)
- Style: Linear

Fill your image with the gradient
Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 35
Selections - Select all
Selections - Modify - Contract - 50 px
Selections - Promote
selection to layer
Selections - Select None
Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode
of this layer to "Multiply"
Effects - Edge Effects - Erode

Fill with

Open mask "mask_spirales"
- Minimize to tray
On your image :Layers - New Mask

Draw a line between the left image
and the right image, start at the
left and draw a little dawn, then
make a line to the left
