Materials download  

Plugins:

  • Filters Unlimited 2.0

  • DC Layer - Side Merge * Import into Filters Unlimited

  • Mehdi - Sorting Tiles

  • Richard Rosenman - Solid Border

  • VM Toolbox - * Import in Filters Unlimited

 

Preparations:

  • Copy the selection files to the Selections folder of PSP

  • In PSP 14 & 15 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip. There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side. Therefore I have created a solution: Download two PSP scripts HERE. Copy the Scripts to the Scripts Restricted Folder of PSP. You can use it as a script in PSP 14 & 15 as a replacement for the Image/Mirror/Flip options.

 

Used Colors

  • Foregroundcolor: #000000

  • Backgroundcolor: #DF5628

  • Other: #FFFFFF, #513B36

This translation is written with PSP 15 but can also be made with other PSP versions.

NOTE: Tubes are property of Benice Designs, Do not share them in sharing Groups. Tutorial writers do not use them for your own tutorials!! Thank you.

01.

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 600 px

Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Linear - Angle 135 - Repeats 6 - Invert not checked.

Fill your image with the Gradient

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur 70

 

02.

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Select All

Open Tube "Benice_Woman_L169" - Edit - Copy

On your work image  - Edit - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None.

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

03.

Layers - Duplicate

Close the visiblility of this layer

Layer Palette - Click on the second layer from the top

Adjust - Blur - Motion Blur - Angle 90 - Strength 100

Edit - Repeat Motion Blur

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Burn" and the Layer Opacity to 50

 

 

04.

Layer Palette - Click on the top layer and open it again.

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited - VM Toolbox - Seamless Tile:

Effects - Plugins  - Mehdi - Sorting Tiles:

Layers - Duplicate

PSP 14 & 15: Image - Flip Horizontal

PSP13 & Previous versions: Image - Mirror

PSP 14 & 15: Image - Flip Verticall

PSP13 & Previous versions: Image - Flip

Layers - Merge - Merge Down.

 

06.

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk: Benice 169.1

Selections - Invert

Edit - Cut

Selections - Select None.

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Hard Light" and the Layer Opacity to 40

07.

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited - - DC Layer - Side Merge:

PSP 14 & 15: Image - Flip Horizontal

PSP13 & Previous versions: Image - Mirror

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Normal" and the Layer Opacity to 100

 

 

08.

Open Tube "Benice_L169_Deco" - Edit - Copy

On your work image  - Edit  - Paste As New Layer

No need to move.

 

09.

Set your foregroundcolor to color and to #ffffff

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk: Benice 169.2 - Same settings as before

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Select None.

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Your work should look like this now:

 

10.

Window - Duplicate (or shift+D) - Minimize to tray and go back to the original.

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins - Richard Rosenman - Solid Border:

Image - Resize - 75% - Resize all layers not checked: 

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling:

 

12.

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk: Benice 169.3 -  Same settings as before

Go back to the duplicated image you have set aside before.

Edit - Copy

Back to your work image - Edit - Paste into Selection

Selections - Select None.

PSP 14 & 15: Image - Flip Horizontal

PSP13 & Previous versions: Image - Mirror

PSP 14 & 15: Image - Flip Vertical

PSP13 & Previous versions: Image - Flip

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

 

13.

Open Tube "Benice_Misted_Woman_Front_L169" - Edit - Copy

On your work image  - Edit  - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset:

 

 

14.

Open Tube "Benice_Misted_Woman_Right_L169" - Edit - Copy

On your work image  - Edit  - Paste As New Layer

PSP 14 & 15: Make sure you have opened the Scripts Toolbar in PSP.

PSP 14 & 15: Select the Image - Flip script you have downloaded  - Click on: Run Selected Script

PSP13 & Previous versions Image - Mirror in previous PSP versions)

Effects - Image Effects - Offset:

Layers - Merge - Merge Down.

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk: Benice 169.4 - Same settings as before

Edit - Cut.

Selections - Select None.

Layer Palette - Set the Layer Opacity of this layer to 45

Your work looks like this now:

Open Tube "Benice_Woman_Frame_Right_L16" - Edit - Copy

Or if you use your own tubes: Benice_L169_Frame.

On your work image  - Edit  - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset:

Open Tube "Benice_Woman_Frame_Front_L169" - Edit - Copy

Or if you use your own tubes: Benice_L169_Frame.

On your work image  - Edit  - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset:

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Note: When working with your own tubes: Arrange your tubes in the Layer Pallette under the frames, click on the frames layer and Merge Down.

Effects  3D Effects - DropShadow - 0 -  3 -  100 - 0 - #ffffff

Selections - Select None.

PSP 14 & 15: Select the Image - Flip script you have downloaded  - Click on: Run Selected Script

Layer Palette - Set the Layer Opacity of this layer to 48

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - #513B36

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 3 px - #FFFFFF

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
