Preparations:

Copy the selection files to the selection folder of PSP

 

Foregroundcolor: #BCA095

Backgroundcolor: #ffffff

Other used colors : #493B37

This translation is written with PSP13 but can also be made with earlier PSP versions.

01.

 

Open a new transparent image of 800 x 600 px

Selections - Select all

Open Tube "Achtergrond Benice 62"  Copy and paste into the selection

Selections - Select None

Layers - Duplicate

 

02.

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the foregroundcolor

Open "Masker Benice 62"

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - Masker Benice 62 - Source Luminance checked

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Effects - Plugins - Simple - Top Left Mirror

Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Dodge" and the Layer Opacity to 27

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance More

 

03.

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from disc - Benice 62

Layer Palette - click on the middle layer

Selections - Promote selection to layer

Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Dodge" and the Layer Opacity to 59

Selections - Select None 

 

04.

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Flip

Layer Palette - Set the Layer Opacity to 73

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror

Layer Palette - Set the Layer Opacity to 100

 

05.

Selection Tool - Rectangle

Make a selection like this:

Selections - Invert

Hit the delete key of your keyboard

Selections - Select None

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - 11 - 35

Layer Palette - Make the bottom layer invisible

Click on one of the other layers

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Overlay" and the Layer Opacity to 85

Make the bottom layer visible again.

Window - Duplicate

Set the copy aside for now, you will need it later.

Back to the original

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from disc - Benice 62.1  - Same settings as before

Fill the selection with the backgroundcolor

Selections - Select None

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

 

 

07.

Set your foregroundcolor to Gradient "Metal Copper" (Corel_06_019) - Angle 138 - Repeats 5 - Invert checked.

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from disc - Benice 62.2  - Same settings as before

Fill with the gradient

Selections - Select None

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Luminance (Legacy)"

Layers - Duplicate

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Normal" and the layer opacity to 23

 

 

08.

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from disc - Benice 62.3  - Same settings as before

Open Tube "Karine_dreams-Misted_Lake_885_JANVIER 2010"  Copy and paste into the selection

Selections - Select None

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - 11 - 102

 

09.

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load selection from disc - Benice 62.4  - Same settings as before

Fill the selection with the backgroundcolor

Selections - Select None

Effects - Distortion Effects - Wind - From Left - 100

Effects - Distortion Effects - Wind - From Right - 100

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror

Move to the right and down like this:

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layers - Duplicate

 

10.

Open Tube "Maxyran_13_04_10 Women232 " - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Image - Resize - 95% - Resize all layers not checked

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Move to the left:

Layers - Duplicate

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 40

Layers - Arrange - Move Down

Layer Palette - Click on the top layer

Effects - Plugins -   Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Dropshadow Blurry.

Basic Tab:

 

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric -  2 px - #493B37

Image - Resize - 80%

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Minimize to tray for now

 

11.

Now go back to the image you set aside earlier in this tutorial

Layers - Merge - Merge all

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 30

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins - Birgits Chaos - Embroidery  - Default settings

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance More

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to `Dodge`and the layer opacity to 34

 

 

12.

Go back to the other image - Edit - Copy

Back to the background you just made - Edit - Paste as new layer

Open Tube "Hoeken" - Copy and paste as new layer on your image.

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to `Burn`and the layer opacity to 50

Layers - Duplicate

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to `Dodge`

 

 

 13.

Layer Palette - Click on raster 1 (the layer with your image)

Freehand selection tool - point to point - select the left top triangle

Hit the delete key of your keyboard

Keep selected

Layer Palette - Click on the second raster from the bottom

Hit the delete key of your keyboard

Keep selected

 

14.

Selections - Edit Selection ( your selection will turn red)

Image - Mirror

Image - Flip

Selections - Edit Selection (your right bottom triangle is now selected)

Hit the delete key of your keyboard

Keep selected

Layer Palette - Click on raster 1 (the layer with your image)

Hit the delete key of your keyboard

Selections - Select None

 

15.

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric -  2 px - #493B37

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and your done!
