Plugins:

  • Graphics Plus - Emboss

Preparations:

  • Copy the selection files to the Selections folder of PSP

  • Open the mask file in PSP and minimize to tray

Used Colors

  • Foregroundcolor: #2e2c2f

  • Backgroundcolor: #c6c7cc

  • Other #ffffff, #000000

This tutorial is written with PSP13 but can also be made with other PSP versions.

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

Open a new transparent image of 750 x 550 px

Fill with #2e2c2f

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Select All

Open Background Image  "JHanna_272 background" - Edit - Copy

On your work image  - Edit - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Image - Negative Image

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Luminance (Legacy)" and the Layer Opacity to 82

 

02.

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - ASDwebs_Sel_#209

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Selections - Select None

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - Hue 0 - Saturation 0

Effects - Texture Effects - Weave  - Colors #ffffff

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)

 

03.

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Resize - 50% - Resize all layers not checked

Selection Tool - Rectangle - Custom Selection: 

Hit the delete key of your keyboard

Selections - Select None

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Screen" and the Layer Opacity to 75

 

04.

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with #c6c7cc

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - Narah_mask_Abstract86 - Source Luminance checked - Invert Mask Data NOT checked

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Image - Flip

Layer Palette - Set the Layer Opacity of this layer to 50

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

 

05.

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selection Tool - Rectangle - Custom Selection - same settings as before

Open Wordart Tube "ASDwebs_Wordart_xoxo" - Edit - Copy

On your work image  - Edit - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Layer Palette - Set the Blend Mode of this layer to "Soft Light"

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - ASDwebs_Sel_#210 - Same settings as before

Fill with #ffffff

Effects - Plugins -  Graphic Plus - Emboss - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0

Selections - Select None

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - Hue 240 - Saturation 255

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - ASDwebs_Sel_#211 - Same settings as before

Fill with #c6c7cc

Selections - Select None

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Flip

Image - Mirror

Open Tube "white flower_tubed_by_thafs" - Edit - Copy

On your work image  - Edit  - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 75% - Resize all layers not checked

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - Hue 0 - Saturation 0

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Open Tube "TubeNP 887" - Edit - Copy

On your work image  - Edit  - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 75% - Resize all layers not checked

Image - Mirror

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - 0 - 0 - 100 - 50 - #000000

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)

Edit - Copy

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 2 px - #c6c7cc

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 50 px - #ffffff

Magic Wand Tool - Mode: Shift/Add - Tolerance 0 - Contiguous checked - Anti Alias Checked -  Click in the last border

Edit - Paste Into Selection

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 50

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - Hue 0 - Saturation 0

Effects - Texture Effects - Fur

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Selections - Invert

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - 0 - 0 - 100 - 50 - #000000

Selections - Select None

 

11.

Layers - New Raster Layer
