Materials:  

This tutorial is written for PSP15 but can also be made with other PSP versions.

Plugins:

  • AAA Frames - Foto frame
  • Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Perspective Shadow
  • Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow
 

Preparations:

  • Copy the Selection files to the Selections folder of PSP

  • Open the Mask in PSP and minimize to tray

  • Download Preset Emboss8 HERE - Copy it to the Presets folder of PSP

From PSP 14 and higher versions there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE

 

Colors:

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion!

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #643f1d

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #c57b34

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Sunburst

 

The tutorial:

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 600 px

Fill with the Gradient

Adjust -  Blur -  Gaussian Blur -  50

Open Tube "_k@rine_ Dreams_Pretty_Woman_2987_Juillet_2014

Layer Palette: Click on the Background Layer

Note: If you are using tubes and colors of your own,  it is best to use the background of this tube by Karine for this step, otherwise the result will be different. You can colorize it to match your work, or set the Blend Mode to Luminance

Edit - Copy

Minimize to tray, You need it again later

On your work image:  Edit - Paste as New Layer

Image - Resize - 70% - Resize all Layers not checked

Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur

Effects - Texture Effects - Mosaic Antique

Color Palette: Set the Foreground Gradient back to color and change to #ffffff

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - Jillmask_verdi

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling - Default settings

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Dodge" and the Layer Opacity to 80

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)

Your work looks like this now:

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Effects - Plugins - AAA Frames - Foto frame

 

Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Select None

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Hue/Saturation/Lightness (If you are using different colors play with the settings to match your tube)

Selections - Select None

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layers - Duplicate

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Maximize Tube "_k@rine_ Dreams_Pretty_Woman_2987_Juillet_2014

Layer Palette: Click on the Middle Layer

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 50% - Resize all Layers not checked

Move into the Selection like this:

Note: Because the tube needs to be partly outside the image I did the following steps, you might not need to do this if you are using a different tube but make sure a part of the tube sticks out, preferably at the top, if so go further at **

Layers - Duplicate

Layer Palette - Click on the Second Layer from the Top

Selections - Invert

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Selection - Select None

Layer Palette - Click on the Top Layer

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard))

** Selection - Select None

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Note: If you skipped the steps between the  ** ignore the next step! (repeat merging down)

Edit - Repeat Layers Merge Down

Your work and Layer Palette look like this now:

Layers - Arrange - Move Down

Layer Palette - Click on the Top Layer

Image - Free Rotate

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - ASDwebs_Sel_#410

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Select None

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 3 px

Layer Palette - Click on the Bottom Layer

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Layers - Arrange - Bring to Top

Selections - Select None

Adjust - One Step Photo Fix (Available from PSP 8 onwards , if you do not have this you kan skip it)

Effects - User Defined Filter - Emboss_8

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Edit - Copy

Edit -  Paste as New Image

Minimize to tray and go back to your main image

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Preset Dropshadow, Lowest

Image - Mirror

Image - Flip

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - ASDwebs_Sel_#411

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Select None

Layers - Arrange - Move Down

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Color #000000

Image - Resize - 35% - Resize all Layers not checked

Image - Flip

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Edit - Repeat Duplicate Layer

Layer Palette - Click on the Second Layer from the Top

Effects - Image Effects - Offset (Do not Flip!)

Layers - Arrange - Bring To Top

Image - Resize - 75% - Resize all Layers not checked

Move to the Right side of the bigger frame, depending on your tube where you place it, but make sure the white lines are in line with the lines of the Bigger image like this:

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror

Move to the Left Side of the image, again depending on your tube where you place it

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Preset Dropshadow, Lowest

Open Tube "ASDwebs_Wordart_You_Are_Beautiful

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 60% - Resize all Layers not checked

Move to the Bottom like this (depending where your little images are you might need to move to another spot)

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Layer Palette - Click on the Bottom Layer

Edit - Copy!

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - #000000

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 5 px - #ffffff

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - #000000

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 25 px - #ffffff

Magic Wand Tool - Mode: Add /Shift - Tolerance 0 - Contiguous checked - Anti Alias Checked -  Click in the last border

Edit - Paste Into Selection (Image is still in your PSP Memory)

Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur

Effects - Plugins -  Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow - Default settings (6 x 50 & 2 x 128)

Selections - Invert

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Preset Dropshadow, Blurry (!!)

Selections - Select None
