Materials:  

This tutorial is written for PSP15 but can also be made with other PSP versions.

Preparations:

  • Copy the Selection files to the Selections folder of PSP

  • Open the Mask files in PSP and minimize to tray

From PSP 14 and higher versions there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE

 

Colors:

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #ffffff

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #a28e90

 

The tutorial:

 

01

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 600 px

Selections - Select All

Open Tube "_k@rine_ dreams _Pretty_Girl_2196_Avril_2012

Layer - Palette - Click on the Backgroundlayer

Note: If you are using tubes and colors of your own,  it is best to use the tube provided in the Materials for this step, otherwise the result will be different. You can colorize it to match your work.

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins - Mehdi - Sorting Tiles

Effects - Reflection  Effects - Kaleidoscope

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins - Toadies - What Are You? - X-dose 20 - Y-dose 20

Image - Free Rotate - Right checked - Free - 90

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - Hue 243 - Saturation 50

Note: If your use a tube of your own you might need to adjust these settings

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Selections -Select None

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Burn"

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 3 px

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Color #000000

Layer Palette - Click on the Bottom Layer

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - Narah_mask_Abstract279

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Selections - Invert

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this Layer to 65

Layer Palette - Click on the Top Layer

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - ASDwebs_Sel_#430

Fill the Selection with the Backgroundcolor (Right Mouse Click)

Selections - Select None

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - ASDwebs_Sel_#431

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Select None

Layers - Duplicate

Image Mirror

Image - Flip

Edit - Copy Special - Copy Merged

NOTE: If you do not have this option (older PSP Versions) you can make a copy with shift+D and merge all layers of the duplicate

Edit - Paste as New Image

On this copy:

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 2 px - Color #ffffff

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 5 px - Color #000000

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 10 px - Color #ffffff

Image - Resize - 20% - Resize all Layers checked

Edit - Copy!

On your main image

Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Preset Dropshadow, Blurry

Color Palette: Set the Foregroundcolor to #000000

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - ASDwebs_Sel_#432

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Select None

Open Tube "ASDwebs_Wordart_Evgenya

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 2 px - Color #ffffff
 
Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 50 px - Color #191616

Open Tube "Alies 1VR516-woman-04062013

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 110% - Resize all Layers not checked (Might not be necessary if you use a tube of your own)

Move to the Left like this:

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Preset Dropshadow, Blurry

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 2 px - Color #ffffff
 
Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - Color #191616

Image - Resize - Width 900 px  - Resize all Layers checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
