Preparations:

  • Open all files in PSP, duplicate and close the originals. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize some of the files.
     

From PSP 14, 15 AND 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

 

 

Colors:

       
#fe7232 #ffffff #fcd35c #000000        

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #fe7232

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #ffffff

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Rectangular

 

 

The tutorial:

Open a new transparent image of 800 x 600 px

  Fill the Layer with the Gradient 

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Layers - New Raster Layer

Color Palette:  Change the Foreground Gradient to - #fcd35c  

  Fill the Layer with the Foregroundcolor  

Layers - Load/Save - Load Mask From Disk - "masknoisette2"

Layers - Delete

Click Yes

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Overlay

Layers - Merge - Merge All Flatten

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save - Load Selection From Disk -"selectnoisette16"

Fill the Selection with - #fe7232  

Selections - Modify - Contract - 5px

Edit - Cut  (or hit Delete on your keyboard)

Keep Selected

Selections - Modify - Contract - 20px

Fill the Selection with - #fe7232  

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow

Selections - Select None

Effects - Illumination Effects - Lights

Maximize "friem-divers 11- shoe 15 juli 2009"  from tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image: Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 50% - Resize All Layers - not checked

Move the shoe into the Right frame like this:

Selection Tool (S) - Freehand Selection

Make a Selection around the frame like this:

Selections - Invert

Edit - Cut (or hit Delete on your keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal  (Image - Mirror in older versions of PSP)

Layers - Merge Down

Layer Palette:  Lower the Opacity of this Layer to 40

Layer Palette:  Click on Raster 1

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin - Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow - Preset -Reflect in Front Sharp

Do not click ok yet

Your work should look like this now:

Drag the Centre Node up to the Top of your work like this:

You should have this now:

Click ok

Repeat - Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin - Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow - Preset -Reflect in Front Sharp

No need to move anything this time, just click ok.

Your work should look like this:

Color Palette: Change the Backgroundcolor to - #000000  

Layer Palette:  Click on the Top Layer

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selection Tool (S) Custom Selection

Fill the Selection  with the Backgroundcolor  

Selections - Selet None

Effects - Geometric Effects - Skew

Layer Palette:  Lower the Opacity of this Layer to 53

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror - Mirrror Horizontal  (Image - Mirror in older versions of PSP)

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Soft Light

Layer Palette: Click on the Layer below (Raster3)

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Toadies - Ommadawn

Move slightly to the Left like this:

Layers - Merge - Merge All Flatten

Layer Palette:  Click on the Bottom Layer

Color Palette:   Change the Foreground to Gradient -(Corel_06_028)

Still on the Bottom Layer

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill the Layer with the Foreground Gradient 

Layer Palette:  Lower the Opacity of this Layer to 80%

Layers - Merge - Merge All Flatten

Optional: Image - Resize - Width 900 Pixels - Resize all Layers checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
