Preparations:

  • Copy the Selection files to the Selections folder of PSP
  • Export the Brush to the Brushes folder of PSP (File - Export - ustom Brush
  • Install the Font into the Windows Font folder
  • Open all other files in PSP, duplicate and minimize to tray. Close the originals. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize some of the files.
     

From PSP 14, 15 AND 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #5c4d4c

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #d5cac7

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style:Sunburst

Open a new transparent image of 800 x 600 px

Fill with the Gradient

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited - Unplugged Tools - Spice Dots

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Filter Factory C - Heightline

Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Layers - New Raster Layer (Raster2)

Materials Palette:  Change the Foreground Gradient settings to Repeats =1

Fill the Layer with the Gradient  

Image - Resize - 80% - Resize All Layers - not checked

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal  (Image - Mirror in older versions of PSP)

Image - Mirror - Mirror Vertical  (Image - Flip in older versions of PSP)

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Image - Resize - 80% - Resize All Layers - not checked

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Simple - Left Right Wrap

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode to Hard Light

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Move the wave to the middle of your work like this:

Maximize image "322775" from tray

Edit - Copy

Edit - Paste - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Layer Palette: Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Overlay

Selections - Load/Save - Load Selection From Disk "selectionoisette24"

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2px

Edit - Cut  (or hit Delete on your keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Effects - Distortion Effects - Wind

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal  (Image - Mirror in older version of PSP)

Maximize "calguisvoilette15110"  from tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 60% - Resize All Layers - not checked

Move to the left side of your work like this:

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow


Your Layer Palette should look like this now:

Text Tool (T) size = 100 Points

Note:  175 pixels  for older versions of PSP

Materials Palette: Change both the Background and Foreground colors to #000000 

Type a Capital C

Layer Palette: Right click and Convert to Raster Layer

Move into place like this:

Lower the Point size on the Toolbar to 36

Note: 60 pixels  for older versions of PSP

Arrange the text like this:

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow

Lower the Point size to 14 On the Toolbar

Note:  30 pixels for older versions of PSP

Layer Palette: Right Click and Convert to Raster Layer

Image - Free Rotate

Move the text like this:

Brush Tool (B) Select "baton" from the drop down menu

Stamp once with your Brush on the Bottom Right like this:

Layers - Merge - Merge All Flatten

Brush Tool (B) Change the size to 230 and the Rotation to 90

Stamp the Brush once in the Top Left corner like this:

Layers - Merge - Merge All Flatten

Optional: Image - Resize - Width 900 Pixels - Resize all Layers checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
