This translation is written with PSP18, if you work with older versions some things might be different but the result will be the same.

Preparations:

  • Open all files in PSP, duplicate, minimize to tray and close the originals. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize some of the files.
     

From PSP 14, 15 AND 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal ( Image - Mirror in previous PSP Versions)      & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

 

Colors:

         
#ffffff #f1959d #000000          

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #ffffff

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #f195

 

The tutorial:

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 550 px

Selections - Select All

Maximize "achtergrond les 133"  from tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill the Layer with the Foregroundcolor  

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - "mask les 133"

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Layer Palette:  Lower the Opacity to 57

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill the Layer with the Foregroundcolor  

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - "Narah_mask_0508"

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal ( Image - Mirror in previous PSP Versions)    

Lower the Opacity to 57

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill the Layer with the Foregroundcolor  

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - "cas_Mask_045_33"

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

 Selection (S) Freehand Selection  Tool 

Draw a Selection on the overlapping part of the mask like this:

Edit - Cut  (or hit Delete on your Keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Maximize "selectie les 133" from tray

Selections - Load/Save - Save Selection to Alpha Channel

 

Click Load

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor  

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2px

Edit - Cut  (or hit Delete on your Keyboard)

Keep Selected

Layers - New Raster Layer

Effects - Plugins - VanDerLee Unplugged X - Raster

Layer Palette:  Lower the Opacity to 57

Selections - Select None

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Move to the Top Left corner like this:

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode to Soft Light and lower the Opacity to 60

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Flood

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode to Soft Light

Layers - Duplicate

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Geometric Effects - Skew

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layers - Duplicate

Move the duplicate to the Bottom Right like this:

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Move under the circle like this:

Note: The Blend Mode of this Layer is allready set to  screen

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 1px - Backgroundcolor  

 

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 22px - Foregroundcolor

 

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 1px - Backgroundcolor 

Selections - Select All

 

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 34px - Foregroundcolor

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow

Selections - Select None

Maximize "Mr_Thoughtful Young Woman"  from tray

Edit -Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Move slightly to the Left like this:

Add a Drop Shadow of your choice

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 1px - Backgroundcolor

Optional: Image - Resize - Width 900 Pixels - Resize all Layers checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
