This translation is written with PSP15 but can also be made with other PSP versions

Plugins:

  • <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited 2.0
  •  Unplugged Tools - Radial Waves **
  • AP 16 [Power Blend] - Disort - GridEdge
  • FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss
  • AP [Lines] - Lines - Silverlining
  • Simple - Zoom out and Flip

** Import  into Filters Unlimited

 

Preparations:

  • Open the Mask in PSP and minimize to tray

From PSP 14 and higher versions there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE

 

 

Colors:

       
#f9ead2 #5e2411 #000000 #c0c0c0        

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #f9ead2

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #5e2411

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Sunburst

 

 

The tutorial:

Open a new transparent image of 750 x 550 px

Fill with the Gadient

Effects - Plugins - <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Unplugged Tools - Radial Waves

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Effects - Plugins - AP 16 [Power Blend] - Disort - GridEdge

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default settings

Color Palette: Set the Foreground Gradient back to color

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - Astrid Masker 43

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

View - Rulers

Hit the K key (or depending on your PSP version the D key) of your keyboard to activate the Pick Tool/Deformation tool

Move the Top Node down to 100 px and the Bottom Node up to 400 px

Hit the M key of your Keyboard to remove the Nodes

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Multiply"

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Color Backgroundcolor - Shadow on new Layer checked!

Effects - Plugins - AP [Lines] - Lines - Silverlining

Layer Palette - Click on the Top Layer

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Color Backgroundcolor - Uncheck Shadow on new Layer!

Your rulers are still on

Pen Tool - Mode: Draw Lines and Poly Lines - Create as Vector checked - Linestyle Dot - Width 3

Draw (While holding down your Shift Key) with the Foregroundcolor at 100 px a line from Left to Right (cover the whole image), like this:

Layers - Convert to Raster Layer

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Flip

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins - Simple - Zoom out and Flip

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Open Tube "JHanna_517_tube

Edit - Copy

Minimize to tray, you need it again later

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Selection Tool - Rectangle   - Custom Selection:    

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Selections  Invert

Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur

Selections Select None

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Edit - Repeat Enhance Edges

Layers - Arange - Move Down

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Multiply"

Save as PSP file in case PSP shuts down on you and minimize to tray for now

Open a new transparent image of 150 x 160 px

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Select All

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 px

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

 Selections - Modify - Contract - 25 px

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this Layer to 50

Still on the small image:

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the Foregroundcolor


Selections - Modify - Contract -   1 px

Fill with the Backgroundcolor

Maximize Tube "JHanna_517_tubefrom tray

Selection Tool - Rectangle  

Select a nice part of the  tube, I chose her hair:

Edit - Copy

Selections - Select None

Minimize to tray, you need it again later

Go back to your small image

Edit - Paste As New Layer

Move into the 'Selection

Selection  - Invert

Selections  Invert en Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Selections Select None

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this Layer to 50

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Edit - Copy

Go back to your main work image

Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Flip

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Resize - 80% - Resize all Layers not checked

Maximize Tube "JHanna_517_tubefrom tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 90% - Resize all Layers not checked

Move to the Left like this

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Color #000000

Maximize Tube "Astrid 43 tekst

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Layers - Arrange - Move Down

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Resize - 80% - Resize all Layers not checked

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Color #000000

Edit - Repeat Dropshadow

Layer Palette - Click on the Bottom Layer

Effects - Texture Effects - Fine Leather - Color #c0c0c0

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - Backgroundcolor

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
