Materials:  

This translation is written for PSP15 but can also be made with other PSP versions.

 

 

Plugins:

<I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited 2.0

VanDerLee - Unplugged X

VM Distortion - Radiator **

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Impact - Perspective Shadow

** Import into Filters Unlimited

 

Preparations:

Open the Brush in PSP and export as Custom Brush ( File - Export - Custom Brush)

Check if you have Corel Frame Black Torn (Corel_09_002). If not Copy it to the Picture Frames folder of PSP

Double Click on the Eye Candy Preset, it will be imported automatically

Open the Mask files in PSP and minimize to tray

From PSP 14 and higher versions there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE

 

Colors:

           
#000000 #ffffff            

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #000000

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #ffffff

 

The tutorial:

Open "madison-alpha-regis" This image contains Alpha Selections

Window - Duplicate (or shift+D) - Close the original and proceed on the copy

Selections - Select All

Open Image "nebula

Note: If you are using tubes and colors of your own,  it is best to use the Image provided in the Materials for this step, otherwise the result will be different. You can colorize it to match your work.

Edit - Copy

Minimize to Tray, you need again later

On your work image:  Edit - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 35

Effects - Plugins - VanDerLee - Unplugged X - Deinterlace

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Alpha Channel - madison-regis

Effects - Texture Effects - Fine Leather - Color #ffffff

Selections - Select None

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Alpha Channel - madison-1-regis

Effects - Texture Effects - Soft Plastic - Color #ffffff

Selections - Select None

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Alpha Channel - madison-2-regis

Effects - Texture Effects - Fur

Selections - Select None

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Select All

Open Tube "Jhanna_615background

Note: If you are using tubes and colors of your own,  it is best to use the image provided in the Materials for this step, otherwise the result will be different. You can colorize it to match your work.

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Burn"

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - claire_masque_festival2 

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Hit the K key (or depending on your PSP version the D key) of your keyboard to activate the Pick Tool/Deformation tool

Pull the Left, Top, Bottom and Right Nodes to the edge of the image

Hit the M key of your Keyboard to remove the Nodes

Effects - Plugins - <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - VM Distortion - Radiator

Note: Use this filter through Filters Unlimited otherwise the result will be different.

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Overlay" and the Layer Opacity to 73

Your work and Layer Palette look like this now:

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Edit - Copy!

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Alpha Channel -  madison-3-regis

Edit - Paste Into Selection (Image is still in your PSP Memory)

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 30

Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders

Fill with the Backgroundcolor (Right Mouse Click)

Selections - Select None

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Alpha Channel - Again  madison-3-regis

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 px

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - cbbvintage38-vi

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Selections - Select None

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Alpha Channel - Again  madison-4-regis

Fill with the Backgroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 px

Layers - New Raster Layer

Maximize Image "nebulafrom tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Effects - Geometric Effects - Skew

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this Layer to 50

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Preset regis-madison-shadow

Layer Palette - Click on the middle Layer

Effects - User Defined Filter - Emboss_3

Your work and Layer Palette look like this now:

Layer Palette - Click on the Top Layer

Open Tube "deko-madison-regis

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Edit - Repeat Layer Merge Down

Layer Palette - Click on the Bottom Layer

Edit Copy!

Minimize your main image to tray for now ( I always also save as PSP file)

Open a new transparent image of 112 x 112 px

Selections - Select All

Edit - Paste into Selection (Image is still in your PSP Memory)

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 30

Selections - Select None

Open Tube "Mtm_Vector 76 small

Note: If you are using tubes and colors of your own,  it is best to use the tube provided in the Materials for this step, otherwise the result will be different. You can colorize it to match your work.

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 25% - Resize all Layers not checked

Move to the Left Edge:

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Image - Picture Frame - Black Torn (Corel_09_002)

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Edit - Copy

Maximize your main Image

Layer Palette - Click on the Top Layer

Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 85% - Resize all Layers not checked

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Alpha Channel -  madison-5-regis

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Open Tube "schrift

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Image- Negative Image

Layers - New Raster Layer

Paint Brush Tool   - "agiBrush 0218 swirl"

Set the Size to: 300

Stamp with the Backgroundcolor (Right Mouse Click) in the Bottom Right Corner  like this:

Effects - 3D Effects - DropShadow - Color: #000000

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - Foregroundcolor

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 50 px - Foregroundcolor

Open Tube "women_02_26_07_2010

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 90% - Resize all Layers not checked

Move like this:

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - Foregroundcolor

Image - Resize - Width 900 px  - Resize all Layers checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
