This translation is written with PSP17, if you work with older versions some things might be different but the result will be the same.

Plugins:

  • DSB Flux - Blast
  • FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss
  • AAA Frames - Foto Frame

 

Preparations:

  • Copy the Selection to the Selections folder of PSP

From PSP 14, 15 AND 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

 

 

Colors:

         
#6f2612 #c8cbc6 #000000          

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #6f2612

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #c8cbc6

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Linear

 

 

The tutorial:

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 600 px
 
Fill with the Gradient
 
Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 25
 
Effects - Plugins  - DSB Flux - Blast
 
 
Repeat wth the Direction to Right, then again with the direction to Upwards and last again to Downwards
 
Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default settings

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Select All

Selections - Modify - Contract - 35 px

Fill the Selection with the Backgroundcolor (Right Mouse Click)

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 px

Fill the Selection with the Gradient

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 25

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - Kordas_Touch_01

Effects - Art Media Effects - Brush Strokes - Color #c8cbc6

Keep Selected

Selections - Edit - Selection ( It will turn red!)

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal ( Image - Mirror in previous PSP Versions)

Image - Mirror - Mirror Vertical ( Image - Flip in previous PSP Versions) 

Selections - Edit - Selection (the red is gone and you have a new selection)

Effects - Plugins  - DSB Flux - Blast
 
 
Repeat wth the Direction to Right, then again with the direction to Upwards and last again to Downwards
 
Selection - Select None

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow -  Default Settings

Repeat with the Vertical and Horizontal Offset to Minus 10

Open Tube "Vorlage_1

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror - Mirror Vertical ( Image - Flip in previous PSP Versions)

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Edit - Repeat Layer Merge Down

Image - Resize - 97% - Resize all Layers not checked

Your work and Layer Palette look like this now:

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selection Tool - Rectangle - Custom Selection:    

Fill the Selection with the Backgroundcolor (Right Mouse Click)

Selections - Modify - Contract - 2 px

Fill the Selection with the Gradient

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 25
 
Effects - Plugins  - DSB Flux - Blast
 
 
Repeat wth the Direction to Right, then again with the direction to Upwards and last again to Downwards
 
Selections - Select None
 
Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow -  Vertical 5 - Horizontal 5 - Opacity 50 - Blur - 5 -  Color - #000000
 
Repeat with the Vertical and Horizontal Offset to Minus 5

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selection Tool - Rectangle - Custom Selection:    

 
Fill the Selection with the Gradient

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 50

Keep Selected!

Layers - New Raster Layer

Open Tube "kimback162

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Image - Negative Image

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Screen"

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Open Tube "LexHa_AntoninioMisted_Juli 2011

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 50% - Resize all Layers not checked

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal ( Image - Mirror in previous PSP Versions)   

Move to the Right, like this:

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this Layer to 60

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow -  Vertical Minus 5 - Horizontal Minus 5- Opacity 50 - Blur - 5 -  Color - #000000
 
Repeat with the Vertical and Horizontal Offset to 5

Open Tube "Wordart_Touch

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Image - Negative Image

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Open Tube "557 - woman3 - LB TUBES

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal ( Image - Mirror in previous PSP Versions)   

Move to the Left like this:

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow -  Vertical 0 - Horizontal 0 - Opacity 50 - Blur - 50 Color - #000000

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)

Effects - Plugins - AAA Frames - Foto Frame

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
