This translation is written with PSP15 but can also be made with other PSP versions.

Note: I used a different tube than the original tutorial due to the Copyright of the Artist. If you want to use the tube from the original click here and download the materials.

Preparations:

  • Open the Brush in PSP and export as Custom Brush ( File - Export - Custom Brush)
  • Double Click on the Eye Candy Preset, it will be imported automatically
  • Save the Flaming Pear preset to your Hard Drive
  • Copy the Selection files to the Selections folder of PSP

  • Open the Masks in PSP and minimize them to tray

From PSP 14 and higher versions there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #573a5a

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #c4eaff

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Radial

 

 

The tutorial:

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 550 px

Fill with the Gradient

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Effects - Distortion Effects - Wave

Adjust - Softness - Soft Focus

Open Image "Exkizz_Aurora_Template

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Luminance (Legacy)"

Color Palette: Set the Foreground Gradient back to color and change to #ffffff

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - Exkizz_Mask_Aurora1 

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this Layer to 65

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins  - L'amico Perry - Luce - First click on Add Source, next change the Directional

Now zoom in to 60 %

Pull your image upwards like this:

Hit the K key (or depending on your PSP version the D key) of your keyboard to activate the Pick Tool/Deformation tool

Now pull the Top Node up like this ( to remove some gray)


Selections   Select All
 
Selections  -  Clip To Canvas
 
Selections - Invert
 
Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)
 
Selections - Select None
 
You can zoom back to 100 now
 
Image   -  Mirror

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this Layer to "Screen"

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - @nn_120410_mask_002_tdstudio

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Color #000000

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - Default settings

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Your work looks like this now. ( It may be a little different, depending on how you did the Node Pulling)

Window - Duplicate (or shift+D) - Minimize the original to Tray and proceed on the copy

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - Exkizz_Sel_Aurora1

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Selections - Select None
 
Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Brightness/Contrast
 

 

Effects - Plugins - <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Color Filters - Sunshine
 

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Color #000000

Image - Mirror

Image - Flip

Open Tube "calguiseyes2939

Edit - Copy

Minimize to tray, you need it again

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 70% - Resize all Layers not checked

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Overlay"  and the Layer Opacity to 40

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - Foregroundcolor

Layers - Promote Background Layer

Image - Resize - 50% - Resize all Layers not checked

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Preset Exkizz_Aurora

Image - Mirror

Your Copy looks like this now:

Minimize to Tray for now

Maximize your main Image from Tray

Layers - Duplicate

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - again Exkizz_Sel_Aurora1

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Selections - Select None
 
Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Brightness/Contrast
 

 

Effects - Plugins - <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Color Filters - Sunshine
 

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Color #000000

Image - Mirror

Image - Flip

Open Tube "calguiseyes2939

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 70% - Resize all Layers not checked

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Overlay"  and the Layer Opacity to 40

Image - Resize - 80% - Resize all Layers not checked

Layer Palette - Click on the middle Layer

Image - Resize - 80% - Resize all Layers not checked

Maximize the image you have made in step 7 from Tray

Edit - Copy

On your main work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Free Rotate - Left checked - Free checked - 22°

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layer Palette: Close the Bottom Layer by clicking on the Little Eye

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk -  Exkizz_Sel_Aurora2

 

Fill with the Foregrundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1 px

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Preset Exkizz_Aurora

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layer Palette: Close the Top Layer by Clicking on the Little eye

Click on the Background Layer and open it

Effects - Plugins - Toadies - What Are You? - X-dose 10 - Y-dose 10

Image - Mirror

Layers - New Raster Layer

Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Glitterato - Click on the Red Arrow and load Preset Exkizz_Aurora_Glitterato

Or if this is not working for you with these settings (only the color #c4eaff is importend)

Effects - Plugins - Transparency - Eliminate Black

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk -  Exkizz_Sel_Aurora3

Selections - Modify - Expand - 55 px

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Image - Mirror

Image - Flip

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More

Open Tube "Alies 1-2VR154-woman-18112014" 

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 65% - Resize all Layers not checked (also 65 % if you use the original tube)

Image - Mirror

The Alies tube is in it's right place, If you use a different tube move like this:

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Effects  3D Effects - Dropshadow - Color #000000

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk -  Exkizz_Sel_Aurora4

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Layers - New Rastr Layer

Paint Brush Tool   - "Exkizz_Aurora_Text" - Size: 411 - Step: 32 - Density: 100 - Rotation: 0 - Opacity: 100 - Blend Mode: Normal - Continuous checked - Wet look paint Unchecked

Stamp with your Backgroundcolor (Right Mouse Click) in the Left side of you image like this:

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - Foregorundcolor

Optional: Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - Backgorundcolor (For use with a white background)

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
