This translation is written with PSP15 but can also be made with other PSP versions.

** Import into Filters Unlimited

 

Preparations:

Open the Brush in PSP and export as Custom Brush ( File - Export - Custom Brush)

Double Click on the Eye Candy Preset, it will be imported automatically

Open the Mask in PSP and minimize to tray

From PSP 14 and higher versions there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube - image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and - or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #889ba5

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #273238

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground - Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Radial

Open "alpha_verlaine" This image contains Alpha Selections

Window - Duplicate (or shift+D) - Close the original and proceed on the copy

Fill with the Gradient

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins - Androméda - C Multi (In Materials)

Note from ASDwebdesigns: The Filter did not work in my PSP 15, but did work in my older version PSP 12. If this is not working for you, I have included the Layer in the Materials. Edit - Copy, Paste As New Layer on your image, colorize if you use other colors

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Image - Mirror

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this Layer to 50

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Effects - Plugins - <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited - &<Background Designers IV> - @Night Shadow

Image - Free Rotate - Right checked - 90°

Effects - Plugins - Plugin Galaxy - Instant Mirror

Image - Resize - 80% - Resize all Layers not checked

Effects - Plugins - <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited - VM Distortsion - Radiator

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Soft Light" and the Layer Opacity to 60

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - LF-Mask-69

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Effects  3D Effects - DropShadow - Color: #000000

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this Layer to 70

Color Palette: Change your Foregroundcolor to #889ba5   and set  The Foreground - Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Linear

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Alpha Channel - Sélection #1

Fill with The Gradient

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 10

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins - <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited - Toadies - Weaver

Note: Use this filter through Filters Unlimited otherwise the result will be different!

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Dodge" and the Layer Opacity to 60

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Alpha Channel - Sélection #2

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins  - Tramages - Tow The Line

Color Palette: Set the Foreground Gradient back to Color and change to: #ffffff

Layer Palette - Click on the top Layer

Layers - New Raster Layer

Paint Brush Tool   - "flowers_linette" - Size: 500

Stamp with your Foregroundcolor like this, click Twice!!

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Screen" and set the Layer Opacity of this Layer to 45

Set the Opacity of your Flood Fill Tool to 30

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Select None

Set the Opacity of the Flood Fill Tool back to 100

Hit the K or the D key of your Keyboard (depending on your PSP version)

Pull the Bottom Node up to 450 PX

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste as New Layer

Image - Resize -  80% - Resize all Layers not checked

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Move to the Right like this:

Freehand Selection Tool 

Make a Selection round the vase like this:

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Hue/Saturation/Lightness (If you are using different colors play with the settings to match your tube)

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow -  Settings Tab: Preset Linette_236_reflect_front

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
