This translation is written with PSP 2019 ULTIMATE by Corel, if you work with older versions some things might be different but the result will be the same.

    ** Import into Filters Unlimited

 

Preparations:

  • Copy the Selection to the Selections folder of PSP
  • Open all other files in PSP, duplicate and minimize to Tray.Close the originals. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize

From PSP 14 and higher there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is an easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #d7b5bf

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #58250c

Open a new transparent image of 850 x 500 px

Effects - Plugins - Mehdi - Wavy Lab 1.1

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Select All

Maximize JPG Image "trippy___by_charly_v" from tray

Edit - Copy

Minimize to tray for later

Note: You must use this image to achieve the same effect. I used Nik software - Bi Color Filters - User Defined to get a different look.

On your work image: Edit - Paste - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode to Soft Light and lower the Opacity to 50

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited - Simple - Blintz

Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds

Layer Palette:  Click on the Bottom Layer (Raster1)

Selections - Load/Save - Load Selection From Disk - "mb-les-206-2017"

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Layers - Arrange - Bring to Top

Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin - Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Backlight -Basic Tab

Click on the Colors Tab: Use these settings:

Maximize "deco-1-2017-mb"  from tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

If you use other colors, colorize or set the Blend Mode of this Layer to "Luminance (Legacy))

Objects - Align Left

Note: If you don't have this option, move to the Left side of your work like this:

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Objects - Align Bottom

Note: If you don't have this option, move to the Bottom edge of your work like this:

Maximize "deco-3-2017-mb"  from tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

No need to move

Selection Tool (S) - Custom Selection 

Fill the Selection with your Backgroundcolor

Keep selected

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1px - Fill the Selection with your Foregroundcolor 

Selections - Modify - Contract - 3px - Fill the Selection with your Backgroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1px - Fill the Selection with your Foregroundcolor 

Selections - Modify - Contract -10px - Fill the Selection with your Backgroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1px - Fill the Selection with your Foregroundcolor 

Keep selected

Maximize "trippy____by_charly_V.jpg" from tray again

Edit - Copy

On your work image: Edit - Paste - Paste Into Selection

Layer Palette: Lower the Opacity of this Layer to 60

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow  Vertical: 0   Horizontal: 0   Opacity: 50   Blur: 80   Color: #000000

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin - Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Backlight - Same settings but set the Random Seed to 143

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Layer Palette:  Click on the Second Layer from the Bottom (Copy of Raster 1)

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meister - Perspective Tiling

Effects - Distortion Effects - Warp

Layer Palette: Lower the Opacity of this Layer to 50

Your work and Layer Palette look like this now:

Selections - Select All

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 50px - #ffffff 

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow  Vertical: 0   Horizontal: 0   Opacity: 40   Blur: 80   Color: #000000

Selections - Select None

Maximize "4532-luzcristina.png"  from tray

Erase the Watermark

Edit - Copy

On your work image: Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 90% - Resize All Layers - Not checked

Move to the Bottom edge of your work like this:

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow  Vertical: 0   Horizontal: 0   Opacity: 40   Blur: 80   Color: #000000

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 1px - Backgroundcolor

Optional: Image - Resize - Width 900 Pixels - Resize all Layers checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
