Preparations:

  • Open all files in PSP,duplicate and minimize to Tray.Close the origianls. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize

From PSP 14 and higher there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is an easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #810b0d

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #ffffff

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 550 px

Selections - Select All

Maximize "achtergrond les 141"  from tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None 

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Radius: 25

Effects - Plugins - Mehdi - Weaver

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill the Selection with the Backgroundcolor  

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - "cas_Mask_0815_1"

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Effects - Distortion Effects - Polar Coordinates

Layer Palette: Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to OverLay

Fill the Selection with the Backgroundcolor

Erase the watermark

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 60% - Resize All Layers - not checked

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Multiply

Edit - Copy

On your work image: Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

No need to move

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Overlay

Layers - New Raster Layer

Maximize Selectie les 141 blokjes"  from tray

Leave the Selection active

Selections - Load/Save - Save Selection to Alpha Channel

You can close the Selection now it is saved to Alpha Channel

Click on your main work image

Selections - Load/Save - Load Selection From Alpha Channel - "selectie les 141 blokjes"

Fill the Selection with the Backgroundcolor  

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1px

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor  

Keep selected

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin - Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Glass - Preset - Clear

Selections - Select None

Your work looks like this now:

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Move to the Top Right corner like this:

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Screen and lower the Opacity to 75

Click on the Middle layer

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Image - Resize - 75% - Resize All Layers - not checked

Move down slightly like this:

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Screen

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Note: Results vary depending on PSP version and Operating System.

Adjust the Top 2 settings until you find an arrangement you like. Move them to your liking.

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 1px - Foregroundcolor    

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 20px - Backgroundcolor

Selections - Select All

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 35px - Backgroundcolor  

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow -  Vertical 0 - Horizontal 0 - Opacity 50 - Blur 40  - Color #000000

Selctions - Select None

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 1px - Foregroundcolor

Optional: Image - Resize - Width 900 Pixels - Resize all Layers checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
