This translation is written with PSP 2019 ULTIMATE by Corel, if you work with older versions some things might be different but the result will be the same.

    ** Import into Filters Unlimited

 

Preparations:

  • Copy the Selections to the Selections folder of PSP
  • Place the Mask into the Masks folder of PSP
  • Open all other files in PSP, duplicate and minimize to Tray.Close the originals. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize

From PSP 14 and higher there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is an easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #98b877

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #514062

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Linear

Open a new transparent image of 800 x 550 px

Fill the image with the Gradient 

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited - Unplugged Tools - Spiral - Default settings

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited - FunHouse - Ring Mirror - Default settings

Layers - Duplicate

Edit - Repeat Duplicate Layer

Layer Palette: Close the Top Layer and click on the Middle Layer

Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meister - Perspective Tiling

Staying on this Layer:

Layers - Load/Save - Load Mask From Disk 2020

Layers - Duplicate

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Image - Mirror - Mirror Vertical

Layers - Load/Save - Load Mask - From Disk "Astrid-mask 161"

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Multiply

Your work should look like this now:

Maximize "Astrid Deco 161" from tray

Click on the second Layer from the Bottom

Edit - Copy

Keep open in your workspace

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Pick Tool (K)  Enter these parameters for the X and Y positions on the Toolbar

  24.00  16.00

Press any key to close the Pick Tool

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Dodge

Go back to "Astrid Deco 161" and click on the third Layer from the Bottom

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Pick Tool (K)  Enter these parameters for the X and Y positions on the Toolbar

  208.00  9.00

Press any key to close the Pick Tool

Layer Palette: Change the Blend Mode to Difference

Go back to "Astrid Deco 161" and click on the third Layer from the Top

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Pick Tool (K)  Enter these parameters for the X and Y positions on the Toolbar

  0.00  1.00

Press any key to close the Pick Tool

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Overlay

Go back to "Astrid Deco 161" and click on the second Layer from the Top

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Pick Tool (K)  Enter these parameters for the X and Y positions on the Toolbar

Press any key to close the Pick Tool

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Multiply

Color Palette: Set the Foreground Gradient back to color

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save - Selection - From Disk "Astrid selection 161b"

Fill the Selection with the Backgroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1px

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor 

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1px

Fill the Selection with the Backgroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 10px

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor 

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1px

Press the Delete key on your keyboard

Keep Selected

Edit - Copy the Bottom Layer

On your main work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Move into the frames like this:

Selections - Invert

Press Delete on your keyboard

Keep selected

Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin- Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow - Preset - Drop Shadow Blurry

Selections - Select None

Edit - Copy the Bottom Layer

On your work image: Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Move above the frame like this:

The Blend Mode of this Layer is all ready set to Multiply

Move to the Left side of the frames like this:

The Blend Mode of this Layer is all ready set to Multiply

Click in the last border

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Fill with the same Gradient as in Step#1

Selections - Select None

Layer Palette: Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Overlay

Effects - Plugins - Xero - Fritillary

Layers - Merge - Merge All Flatten

Optional: Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 1px - #000000 

Image - Resize - Width 900 Pixels - Resize all Layers checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
