Plugins:

  • Flaming Pear - Flood
  • AP 01 [Distort] - Wavy City

 

Preparations:

  • Copy the Selections to the Selections folder of PSP
  • Copy the Mask "masque-noel-noisette" to the Masks folder of PSP
  • Save the Flood Preset to your Desktop
  • Open all other files in PSP,duplicate and minimize to Tray.Close the originals. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize

From PSP 14 and higher there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is an easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #831100

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #ffffff

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Linear

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 500 px

Fill the Layer with the Gradient   

Effects - Reflection Effects - Feedback

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Radius: 40

Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Flood

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal

Image - Mirror - Mirror Vertical

Layer Palette:  Lower the Opacity of this Layer to 77

Save your work as .pspimage and put to one side

Window - Duplicate (or shift+D) - Close the original and proceed on the copy

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selection Tool (S) - Custom Selection  



Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor 

Layers - Load/Save Mask - From Disk - "masque-noel-noisette"



Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Selections - Select None

Edit - Copy Special - Copy Merged

Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer  (Raster3)

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Overlay and lower the Opacity to 65

Change the Blend mode to Lighten and lower the Opacity to 32

Materials Palette: Change the Foreground to Pattern and click on the Selection you just created   Angle: 0   Scale 100

Selections - Load/Save - Load Selection From Disk "noel-2017-selnoisette01"



Fill the Selection with the Backgroundcolor  

Selections - Modify - Contract - 1px

Fill the Selection with the  Foreground Pattern

Selections - Select None

Note: In the new PSP 2018 version the wave in the next step gives a different effect. If you result looks different then the tutorial Header you can use the Extra Selection from the materials instead. Click on the 4th Layer from the Top, Add a new Layer, load the Selection and fill with the Foregroundcolor ( click 2 times), deselect.  Go further with step 20.

Layers - Duplicate

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
