  • Preparation
    Foreground color = #baa98f 1, background color = #5b513c 2
    Change foreground color into gradient and prepare a foreground - background gradient with these settings:

    Feel free to change the opacity and blend mode from the layers if you work with different colors. You can colorize if necessary

  1. File - New image:
    click right and select the foreground gradient:

  2. Effects - plugins - 2Manekenai(tm) - Mezzoforce-Ice with settings shown below:

  3. Effects - plugins - Brushes Strokes - Angled Stroke:

  4. Edit - repeat Angled Stroke click OK

  6. selections - modify - contract with 45 px
  7. selections - promote selection to layer - deselect afterwards
