Preparations:

  • Place the Selections into the Selections folder of PSP
  • Place the Gradient into the Gradients folder of PSP
  • Open all other files in PSP, duplicate and close the originals. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize some of the files.
     

From PSP 14, 15 AND 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is an easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

NOTE: If you use your own images or tubes, make them the same size!!!

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #ffffff

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #000000

Color Palette: Set your Backgroundcolor to Gradient "@nn_020514_GR_Birte_tdstudio" - Style: Sunburst

Open a new Gradient image of 900 x 500 px

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Radius: 50

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited - Tile and Mirror - XY Offset: 50% (Negative)

Effects - Plugins - Simple - Pizza Slice Mirror

Layer Palette:  Lower the Opacity of this Layer to 40

Layer Palette: Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Overlay

Layers - Merge - Merge All Flatten

On your main work image:

Selections - Load/Save - Load Selection From Disk -"@nn_020514_Selectie_002_Birte_tdstudio"

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Selections - Select None

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited - [AFS IMPORT] -sqborder 2

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:   Vertical: 0   Horizontal: 0   Opacity: 75   Blur: 50   Color:#000000

Maximize "@nn_020514_mistbank_Birte_tdstudio"  from tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Move to the Bottom of your work like this:

Layer Palette:  Lower the Opacity of this Layer to 65

Layers - New Raster Layer

Brush Tool (B) Select "@nn_030514_brush_Birte_001"  from the drop down menu  Size: 900

Apply the Brush at the Bottom of your work with the Foregroundcolor like this:

Layer Palette:  Lower the Opacity of this Layer to 30

Layers - New Raster Layer

Brush Tool (B) Select "@nn_030514_brush_Birte_002"  from the drop down menu  Size: 810

Apply the Brush in the Middle of your work with the Foregroundcolor like this:

Apply the Brush in the Middle of your work with the Background Gradient like this:

Edit - Copy

Maximize "the small frame @nn_020514_frame_tdstudio"

Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Layers - Arrange - Move Down

Edit - Copy Special - Copy Merged

On your main work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New layer

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:   Vertical: 5  Horizontal: 5   Opacity: 35   Blur: 15   Color:#000000

Layers - Merge - Merge All Flatten

Effects - Plugins - Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow
